Last week, we swapped wheels for whisks at Chadkirk Transport to raise money for Macmillan’s coffee morning special.

After a day of eating homemade muffins, cakes and flapjacks, we raised a show-stopping £103 for the cancer charity – that’s how we roll!

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s largest fundraising event for people facing cancer, and the event provides people with an opportunity to catch up over a warm drink and a slice of cake.

Rhys Fildes, Managing Director, said: “Holding our first ever coffee morning was a lot of fun and it was great to see so many team members taking part and rising to the occasion.

“With cancer affecting so many people’s lives, it’s something that’s close to all of our hearts and therefore we were keen to get involved.

“Being only a small business, we were delighted to raise over £100 for Macmillan. We will definitely be taking part next year and hopefully we can beat this year’s fundraising amount!”
